Tips&Tricks
In Workbench Mechanical, the User Defined Results allow you to derive user defined result values by performing mathematical operations on results obtained following a solution. The results to choose from are displayed in the Solution Worksheet. Although undocumented, it is also possible to plot the SMISC and NMISC entities for different element types. Add a command object with the command
OUTRES,ALL,ALL under the Environment in the model tree in order to save all data necessary before using SMISC or NMISC. Example: If you want to plot SMISC,5 you type
SMISC5 (no spaces or commas) in the Expression field in the Detail Window for your User Defined Result. This works with all analysis types except Harmonic Analysis.
